ALEXANDRIA, Va., April 21 -- United States Patent no. 12,605,468, issued on April 21, was assigned to Oregon Health & Science University (Portland, Ore.).
"Oxazine-based fluorophore compounds for nerve-specific imaging" was invented by Summer L. Gibbs (West Linn, Ore.), Lei G. Wang (Portland, Ore.) and Connor W. Barth (Portland, Ore.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "This invention concerns novel oxazine-based fluorophore compounds useful in in vivo nerve imaging, as well as compositions comprising them and methods for their use."
