US Patent Issued to Optimotion Implants on Aug. 18 for "Ligament retractor" (Florida Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 18 -- United States Patent no. 12,708,476, issued on Aug. 18, was assigned to Optimotion Implants LLC (Orlando, Fla.).

"Ligament retractor" was invented by Vuong Binh Nguyen (Windermere, Fla.) and Dinesh V. Koka (Winter Springs, Fla.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A retractor assembly may include a retractor removably coupled with a retractor handle.
