ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 7 -- United States Patent no. 12,672,746, issued on July 7, was assigned to Omachron Intellectual Property Inc. (Hampton, Canada).
"Surface cleaning apparatus" was invented by Wayne Ernest Conrad (Hampton, Canada).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A hand vacuum cleaner has an air treatment member positioned in the air flow path downstream of a dirty air inlet. A motor and fan assembly produces an air flow through the air flow path. A handle is moveable between a first use position and a second use position."
