ALEXANDRIA, Va., May 26 -- United States Patent no. 12,636,245, issued on May 26, was assigned to Oleon NV (Evergem, Belgium).
"Lipstick" was invented by Mauro Puppett (Vieux Moulin, France), Sanggari Mogaraja (Shah Alam, Malaysia) and Hilde Peeters (Keerbergen, Belgium).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present invention relates to an improved lipstick, its preparation and a method for improving the hardness, the cutting resistance, and/or the anti-running property of a lipstick."
The patent was filed on Oct. 24, 2023, under Application No. 18/493,075.
