ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 24 -- United States Patent no. 12,587,979, issued on March 24, was assigned to Ofinno LLC (Reston, Va.).
"Handover for synchronization of data flows" was invented by Weihua Qiao (Herndon, Va.), Esmael Hejazi Dinan (McLean, Va.), Kyungmin Park (Vienna, Va.), Peyman Talebi Fard (Vienna, Va.), Jinsook Ryu (Oakton, Va.) and Taehun Kim (Fairfax, Va.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A second base station receives, from a first base station, an indication of synchronization of data flows of one or more wireless devices. The second base station synchronizes forwarding, based on the indication of synchronization, of packets of the data flows."
