ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 8 -- United States Patent no. 12,728,992, issued on Sept. 8, was assigned to Ocean Alliance Inc. (Gloucester, Mass.).

"Flywheel stabilized system for deploying a free-falling payload from an aerial vehicle and methods of use thereof" was invented by Jonathan Mark Godfrey (Natick, Mass.), Christopher James Zadra (Gloucester, Mass.) and Iain Alistair Eddy Kerr (Gloucester, Mass.).
