ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 15 -- United States Patent no. 12,737,629, issued on Sept. 15, was assigned to NVIDIA Corp. (Santa Clara, Calif.).
"Scaling neural network weights" was invented by Ryan Alexander Humble (Stanford, Calif.), Maying Shen (Fremont, Calif.), Jorge Albericio Latorre (Brooklyn, N.Y.) and Jose Manuel Alvarez Lopez (Mountain View, Calif.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Apparatuses, systems, and techniques to prune neural network channels. In at least one embodiment, one or more data values computed as a result of executing a neural network are scaled according to one or more channels pruned from said neural network."
