ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 6 -- United States Patent no. 12,754,769, issued on Oct. 6, was assigned to NVIDIA Corp. (Santa Clara, Calif.).
"Automated partitioning for one or more neural networks" was invented by Sam Ginzburg (Plainsboro, N.J.), Sean Lee (Redmond, Wash.) and Vinod Grover (Mercer Island, Wash.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Apparatuses, systems, and techniques are presented schedule operations to be performed. In at least one embodiment, two or more data partitions of a neural network are caused to be automatically scheduled to be performed by two or more corresponding logical processors in parallel."
The patent was filed on Sept. 30, 2022, under Application No. 17/957,540.
