ALEXANDRIA, Va., May 5 -- United States Patent no. 12,619,868, issued on May 5, was assigned to NVIDIA Corp. (Santa Clara, Calif.).
"Techniques for combining independent operations in a graph structure" was invented by Alexander James Collins (Edinburgh, Great Britain) and Vinod Grover (Mercer Island, Wash.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Apparatuses, systems, and techniques to combine operations. In at least one embodiment, a processor causes two or more operations in a graph to be combined based, at least in part, on another combination of two or more independent operations."
The patent was filed on June 29, 2021, under Application No. 17/362,547.
