US Patent Issued to NVIDIA on March 31 for "Device link management" (California, Texas Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 31 -- United States Patent no. 12,591,435, issued on March 31, was assigned to NVIDIA Corp. (Santa Clara, Calif.).

"Device link management" was invented by Mitesh Meswani (Austin, Texas) and Kapil Dev (Milpitas, Calif.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Apparatuses, systems, and techniques to optimize device communications disclosed. In at least one embodiment, one or more neural networks are used to determine optimal power and frequency states for communication links between processing devices."

The patent was filed on Oct. 11, 2023, under Application No. 18/379,088.
