US Patent Issued to NVIDIA on July 7 for "Panorama generation using one or more neural networks" (Indian Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 7 -- United States Patent no. 12,677,069, issued on July 7, was assigned to NVIDIA Corp. (Santa Clara, Calif.).

"Panorama generation using one or more neural networks" was invented by Siddhant Pardeshi (Pune, India), Pranit P. Kothari (Pune, India) and Vinayak Vilas Gaikwad (Pune, India).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Apparatuses, systems, and techniques are presented to generate panoramas from a set of images. In at least one embodiment, one or more generative neural networks are used to generate a spherical panoramic image using features extracted from input images."

The patent was filed on Dec. 17, 2019, under Application No. 16/717,858.
