ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 25 -- United States Patent no. 12,715,183, issued on Aug. 25, was assigned to Nuvalux LLC (Dallas).

"Tire patching kit" was invented by William Wallander (Dallas).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A tire patching kit includes a cable configured to extend through a puncture in the tire and to extend through an opening formed between the tire and the rim without removing the tire from the rim. The kit also includes a plug configured to be positioned in the puncture, wherein the cable is movable to cause a plug stem to be pulled into the puncture so that a plug base positions against a surface of the interior of the tire."
