US Patent Issued to NULIFE GreenTech on June 2 for "Process for treating a waste material contaminated with perfluoro-and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS)" (Canadian Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 2 -- United States Patent no. 12,643,808, issued on June 2, was assigned to NULIFE GreenTech Inc. (Saskatoon, Canada).

"Process for treating a waste material contaminated with perfluoro-and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS)" was invented by Brock Eidem (Corman Park, Canada), Jerry Kristian (Saskatoon, Canada), Kieran Lewko (Saskatoon, Canada) and Shi Qiu (Saskatoon, Canada).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present invention provides an improved hydrothermal liquefaction process for managing and sequestering PFAS contaminants in waste materials."

The patent was filed on Nov. 28, 2023, under Application No. 18/521,900.
