ALEXANDRIA, Va., April 15 -- United States Patent no. 12,601,235, issued on April 14, was assigned to NuclearSAFE Technology LLC (Norman, Okla.).

"Retrievable waste capsules, retrieval-tool, systems and methods thereof" was invented by Gary Schneider (Colorado Springs, Colo.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Elongate capsules for housing waste are configured for disposal (placement) into wellbore(s) that are located in particular deep underground geologic formation(s). These capsules have opposing structures for physically linking multiple capsules together in an end-to-end fashion.
