US Patent Issued to NOTA Laboratories on June 30 for "Nitric oxide generating systems" (Michigan Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,667,686, issued on June 30, was assigned to NOTA Laboratories LLC (Ann Arbor, Mich.).

"Nitric oxide generating systems" was invented by Glenn Martin (Redford Township, Mich.), Aurora L. Fernandez DeCastro (Union, Mich.) and Mark E. Meyerhoff (Ann Arbor, Mich.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An example of a nitric oxide (NO) generating system includes an NO generating formulation, having: a stable NO donor/adduct; a hydrophilic binder; and an additive.
