ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 24 -- United States Patent no. 12,586,425, issued on March 24, was assigned to NORTHROP GRUMMAN SYSTEMS Corp. (Falls Church, Va.).

"Rare event detection system" was invented by James Skrinska (Encinitas, Calif.), Daniel S. Wald (Melbourne, Fla.), Michael Adam Snyder (Provo, Utah), Dennis Yung Chin Tseng (Chicago) and Mandeep Singh Mundy (Wildomar, Calif.).
