US Patent Issued to NIPPON ELECTRIC GLASS on June 30 for "Paste for ceramic 3D shaping and method for manufacturing three-dimensional shaped object" (Japanese Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,668,544, issued on June 30, was assigned to NIPPON ELECTRIC GLASS Co. LTD. (Otsu, Japan).

"Paste for ceramic 3D shaping and method for manufacturing three-dimensional shaped object" was invented by Noriaki Masuda (Otsu, Japan) and Masayuki Itadani (Otsu, Japan).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A paste for ceramic 3D shaping according to the present invention is a paste for ceramic 3D shaping containing a curable resin and inorganic particles, in which the inorganic particles contain ceramic particles and glass particles."

The patent was filed on June 26, 2020, under Application No. 17/619,301.
