US Patent Issued to NIPPON ELECTRIC GLASS on June 30 for "Glass article" (Japanese Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,668,528, issued on June 30, was assigned to NIPPON ELECTRIC GLASS Co. LTD. (Shiga, Japan).

"Glass article" was invented by Yuki Yokota (Otsu, Japan), Takahiro Matano (Otsu, Japan), Shohei Yokoyama (Otsu, Japan) and Tsukasa Matsubara (Otsu, Japan).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "To provide a glass article suitable for a top plate for a cooker, in which a color tone of a colored layer is not impaired.
