ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 30 -- United States Patent no. 12,746,437, issued on Sept. 29, was assigned to NIKE INC. (Beaverton, Ore.).
"Sport ball" was invented by George S. Kim (Wilsonville, Ore.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A sport ball including a bladder enclosing a volume of gas. The sport ball further includes a casing including a casted material, wherein the casing encloses the bladder."
The patent was filed on Feb. 24, 2023, under Application No. 18/174,247.
