ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 24 -- United States Patent no. 12,741,454, issued on Sept. 22, was assigned to NIKE Inc. (Beaverton, Ore.).

"Waterproof, breathable nonwoven textiles for articles and methods of making the same" was invented by Yang-Hua Ou (Lake Oswego, Ore.), Christopher J. Ranalli (Portland, Ore.) and Lai-Hung Wan (Taoyuan, Taiwan).
