ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 24 -- United States Patent no. 12,559,425, issued on Feb. 24, was assigned to NGK INSULATORS Ltd. (Nagoya, Japan).
"Ceramic body and method for producing same, heater element, heater unit, heater system as well as purification system" was invented by Toru Hayase (Nagoya, Japan), Hirofumi Yamaguchi (Komaki, Japan), Masaaki Masuda (Nagoya, Japan) and Yukio Miyairi (Nagoya, Japan).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A ceramic body being configured of mainly BaTiO3-based crystalline particles in which a part of Ba is substituted with at least one rare earth element, wherein the ceramic body contains Ba6Ti17O40 crystalline particles of from 1.0 to 10.0% by mass."
