ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 5 -- United States Patent no. 12,701,277, issued on Aug. 4, was assigned to NBCUniversal Media LLC (New York).

"Efficient streaming format" was invented by David Bohunek (New York) and Naman Diwaker (Weehawken, N.J.).
