ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 24 -- United States Patent no. 12,582,967, issued on March 24, was assigned to National Technology & Engineering Solutions of Sandia LLC (Albuquerque, N.M.) and UNM Rainforest Innovations (Albuquerque, N.M.).

"Multi-cationic aluminate spinels" was invented by Christopher Ryan Riley (Albuquerque, N.M.), Abhaya Datye (Albuquerque, N.M.) and Andrew De La Riva (Albuquerque, N.M.).
