ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 15 -- United States Patent no. 12,662,681, issued on June 23, was assigned to NantBio Inc. (Culver City, Calif.).
"Multi-pulse transfection methods and cells" was invented by Marcos Sixto (Culver City, Calif.), Kayvan Niazi (Culver City, Calif.), Ting Wu (Culver City, Calif.) and Chihwei Chang (Culver City, Calif.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Systems and methods are provided for transfecting immune competent cells with RNA at high efficiency and viability."
