ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,671,927, issued on June 30, was assigned to MSA Technology LLC (Cranberry Township, Pa.).

"Systems and methods for powering communication devices" was invented by Scott Anderson (Carnegie, Pa.) and Kelsey Sutherland (Pittsburgh).
