US Patent Issued to Molex on July 14 for "Connector" (Japanese Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 14 -- United States Patent no. 12,683,311, issued on July 14, was assigned to Molex LLC (Lisle, Ill.).

"Connector" was invented by Hideyo Tagami (Yamato, Japan) and Junichi Asanuma (Yamato, Japan).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "For a connector 10, a stopper surface 35a interferes with a stopper contacted surface 53a when an actuator 50 is in an upright orientation and this restricts movement of the actuator 50 around a support shaft part 52 beyond the upright orientation. The cam control surface 25c and stopper surface 35a are positioned more to the back than at least a part of the support shaft part 52."
