ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 24 -- United States Patent no. D1,148,560, issued on Sept. 22, was assigned to Mitutoyo Corp. (Kanagawa, Japan).
"Height gauge" was invented by Keisuke Iori (Tokyo), Yuhei Takatsu (Saitama, Japan), Takayuki Yonezawa (Tokyo) and Shigemitsu Aoki (Tokyo).
