US Patent Issued to MITSUBISHI GAS CHEMICAL on June 30 for "Carbon dioxide absorbent" (Japanese Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,667,824, issued on June 30, was assigned to MITSUBISHI GAS CHEMICAL COMPANY INC. (Tokyo).

"Carbon dioxide absorbent" was invented by Kazuki Kouno (Kanagawa, Japan) and Yuki Kawashima (Kanagawa, Japan).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A carbon dioxide absorbent containing a polyamine compound (A) having an alicyclic hydrocarbon structure, wherein a content of the polyamine compound (A) is 60% by mass or more."

The patent was filed on Dec. 14, 2021, under Application No. 18/267,616.
