ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 8 -- United States Patent no. 12,729,295, issued on Sept. 8, was assigned to MITSUBISHI CHEMICAL Corp. (Tokyo).
"Resin composition, formed article, electromagnetic wave absorber, and method for measuring absorbance of resin composition" was invented by Shuta Iseki (Hiratsuka, Japan) and Hidekazu Shoji (Hiratsuka, Japan).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A resin composition containing, per 100 parts by mass of a thermoplastic resin, 0.1 to 10.0 parts by mass of a carbon nanotube, and 10 to 100 parts by mass of a glass fiber, with a mass proportion of the carbon nanotube and the glass fiber (carbon nanotube/glass fiber) being 0.01 to 0.30."
