ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 17 -- United States Patent no. 12,555,350, issued on Feb. 17, was assigned to MICROSOFT TECHNOLOGY LICENSING LLC (Redmond, Wash.).

"Cloud removal by illumination normalization and interpolation weighted by cloud probabilities" was invented by Peder Andreas Olsen (Cortlandt Manor, N.Y.), Roberto De Moura Estevao Filho (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil) and Leonardo de Oliveira Nunes (Rio de Janiero, Brazil).
