US Patent Issued to Microsoft Technology Licensing on April 14 for "Automatic retopologization of textured 3D meshes" (British Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., April 15 -- United States Patent no. 12,602,873, issued on April 14, was assigned to Microsoft Technology Licensing LLC (Redmond, Wash.).

"Automatic retopologization of textured 3D meshes" was invented by Lohit Dev Petikam (Cambridge, Great Britain), Charles Thomas Hewitt (Cambridge, Great Britain), Tadas Baltrusaitis (Cambridge, Great Britain) and Stephan Joachim Garbin (Cambridge, Great Britain).
