ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 14 -- United States Patent no. 12,681,845, issued on July 14, was assigned to Micron Technology Inc. (Boise, Idaho).
"Near-memory protocol analyzer" was invented by David Andrew Roberts (Wellesley, Mass.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Devices and methods are disclosed, including receiving, by a memory controller of a memory device, a memory request from a host device; collecting packet trace data from the memory request; including the packet trace data in a log stored in a memory array of the memory device; and returning the log to the host device."
The patent was filed on March 25, 2024, under Application No. 18/615,046.
