According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A new chromium-containing fluorination catalyst is described. The catalyst comprises an amount of zinc that promotes activity and from 0.1 to 8.0% by weight of the chromium in the catalyst based on the total weight of the chromium is present as chromium (VI).
