US Patent Issued to MediaTek on Sept. 8 for "System and method of foveated rendering of omnidirectional media content" (California Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 8 -- United States Patent no. 12,732,649, issued on Sept. 8, was assigned to MediaTek Inc. (Hsinchu, Taiwan).

"System and method of foveated rendering of omnidirectional media content" was invented by Xin Wang (San Jose, Calif.) and Lulin Chen (San Jose, Calif.).
