ALEXANDRIA, Va., April 15 -- United States Patent no. 12,600,534, issued on April 14, was assigned to Mark W. Wyne (Wildwood, Mo.).

"Spout connector reinforcement ring assembly" was invented by Mark W. Wyne (Wildwood, Mo.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A spout connector and reinforcement ring assembly includes a rigid ring that is positioned around an exterior surface of an input connector of the spout and prevents expansion of the input connector as the input connector is screw threaded on a threaded opening of a container."
