ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 9 -- United States Patent no. 12,650,726, issued on June 9, was assigned to Marc Fresa (Shelton, Conn.).

"Grid-friendly holdover and ramp control for miners during loss of work" was invented by Marc Fresa (Shelton, Conn.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A non-transitory computer-readable medium causes a processor to detect a loss of work for a plurality of cryptocurrency mining machines. The processor then sends one or more commands that cause the plurality of cryptocurrency mining machines to enter a group holdover state."

The patent was filed on Nov. 21, 2025, under Application No. 19/396,570.
