ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 24 -- United States Patent no. 12,582,784, issued on March 24, was assigned to Mannkind Corp. (Danbury, Conn.).

"Dry powder inhalation system" was invented by Chad C. Smutney (Watertown, Conn.), P. Spencer Kinsey (Sandy Hook, Conn.), John M. Polidoro (Tolland, Conn.), Carl R.
