ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 3 -- United States Patent no. 12,565,050, issued on March 3, was assigned to M&R Printing Equipment Inc. (Roselle, Ill.).
"Hybrid silk screen and direct-to-garment printing machine and process" was invented by Richard C. Hoffman Jr. (Lake Forest, Ill.) and Geoff Baxter (Media, Pa.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A hybrid printing machine is described having both silk screening stations and a direct-to-garment digital printing station with a raster image processor to control a portion of a printing process."
The patent was filed on Jan. 19, 2024, under Application No. 18/417,358.
