US Patent Issued to MAGIC LEAP on July 21 for "Microphone array geometry" (California, Indiana, Florida Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 21 -- United States Patent no. 12,688,845, issued on July 21, was assigned to MAGIC LEAP INC. (Plantation, Fla.).

"Microphone array geometry" was invented by Benjamin Thomas Vondersaar (Indianapolis), Jean-Marc Jot (Aptos, Calif.), David Thomas Roach (Plantation, Fla.) and Mathieu Parvaix (Santa Clara, Calif.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "This disclosure relates in general to microphone arrangement of a wearable head device."

The patent was filed on Oct. 13, 2022, under Application No. 18/700,170.
