US Patent Issued to Magellan Life Sciences on April 21 for "Process for extracellular secretion of Brazzein" (Indian Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., April 21 -- United States Patent no. 12,606,836, issued on April 21, was assigned to Magellan Life Sciences Ltd. (London).

"Process for extracellular secretion of Brazzein" was invented by Abhiram Dukkipati (Hyderabad, India) and Aakruthi Vasihnavi Balagangadhar (Secunderabad, India).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present invention discloses a process for the secretion of brazzein in improved yield."
