ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 21 -- United States Patent no. 12,685,718, issued on July 21, was assigned to LUCTA S.A. (Madrid).
"Feed additive" was invented by Jose Javier Pastor Porras (Madrid), Maria Gema Tedo Perez (Madrid), Marta Blanch Saborit (Madrid) and Jose Sola Parera (Madrid).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Present invention relates to the use of hydroxytyrosol (HT), maslinic acid (MA) and oleanolic acid (OA) as additive in feed for a domesticated animal at very early days of life or from birth. The invention provides an additive with particular amounts of these three ingredients and an additivated feedstuff ready to use comprising said additive."
