US Patent Issued to Lori Ann Safar on Oct. 6 for "Posture training" (California Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 6 -- United States Patent no. 12,751,666, issued on Oct. 6, was assigned to Lori Ann Safar (Oceanside, Calif.).

"Posture training" was invented by Samir Hanna Safar (Solana Beach, Calif.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A posture training device comprises a skin-force sensor configured to detect a deviation of a user's posture from a reference posture, and a tactile feedback arm coupled to the skin-force sensor. The tactile feedback arm is configured to cooperate with the skin-force sensor to deliver tactile feedback to the user in response to the skin-force sensor detecting the deviation of the user's posture from the reference posture."
