ALEXANDRIA, Va., Jan. 20 -- United States Patent no. 12,531,873, issued on Jan. 20, was assigned to Live Nation Entertainment Inc. (Beverly Hills, Calif.).

"Cohort affinity grouping for access control" was invented by Ashish Ravindra Gupta (Los Angeles) and Joseph Paul Aiello (Old Hickory, Tenn.).
