US Patent Issued to Lite-On Technology on Sept. 15 for "Transformer" (Taiwanese Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 15 -- United States Patent no. 12,738,408, issued on Sept. 15, was assigned to Lite-On Technology Corp. (Taipei, Taiwan).

"Transformer" was invented by Chen Chen (Taipei, Taiwan), Kai-De Chen (Taipei, Taiwan), De Jia Lu (Taipei, Taiwan), Yong-Long Syu (Taipei, Taiwan) and Chao Lin Chung (Taipei, Taiwan).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A transformer includes iron cores and a winding structure. The iron cores are stacked on each other at intervals, and iron core gaps are formed between the iron cores, wherein relative positions between the iron core gaps are fixed.
