ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 14 -- United States Patent no. 12,680,950, issued on July 14, was assigned to Lightsense Technology Inc. (Tucson, Ariz.).

"FTIR-based sensor system for monitoring gas, vapor, or fluid emissions" was invented by John Coates (Yarmouth Port, Mass.), Wade Poteet (Vail, Ariz.) and Terje Skotheim (Tucson, Ariz.).
