ALEXANDRIA, Va., May 19 -- United States Patent no. 12,631,179, issued on May 19, was assigned to LG Electronics Inc. (Seoul, South Korea).

"Scroll compressor" was invented by Junghoon Park (Seoul, South Korea), Sungyong Ahn (Seoul, South Korea), Taekyoung Kim (Seoul, South Korea) and Seheon Choi (Seoul, South Korea).
