US Patent Issued to LG Electronics on March 3 for "Laundry treating apparatus" (South Korean Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 3 -- United States Patent no. 12,565,727, issued on March 3, was assigned to LG Electronics Inc. (Seoul, South Korea).

"Laundry treating apparatus" was invented by Joohee Oh (Seoul, South Korea) and Baekeun Kwon (Seoul, South Korea).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present disclosure relates to a laundry treating apparatus in which a camera that may film laundry in a front load-type washing machine is built into a door, wherein the laundry treating apparatus may prevent exposure of the camera to moisture, change locations or shapes of a lighting fixture and internal components, and remove foreign substances that interfere with filming."
