US Patent Issued to LG Electronics on June 23 for "Electric range" (South Korean Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 15 -- United States Patent no. 12,666,504, issued on June 23, was assigned to LG Electronics Inc. (Seoul, South Korea).

"Electric range" was invented by Myoeng Soo Park (Seoul, South Korea) and Junghyeon Cho (Seoul, South Korea).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An electric range is provided that may effectively increase output of a heater by optimizing a shape of each ferrite core without increasing a number of ferrite cores and may secure a maximum area of a through hole that facilitates communication between an inside and outside of a core frame, thereby preventing overheating of the heater and decreasing a use time of the heater."
