ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 15 -- United States Patent no. 12,737,008, issued on Sept. 15, was assigned to LG Display Co. Ltd. (Seoul, South Korea).

"Display apparatus" was invented by Hyeontae Jeong (Paju-si, South Korea).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present disclosure relates to a display device, in which a cover member disposed on a display panel includes a first cover, a light blocking member, a filler, and a second cover, thereby removing air bubbles and a lift phenomenon that may be generated by the cover member."
