According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The disclosure relates to hair styling compositions comprising (a) at least one polyphenol; (b) at least one polysaccharide gum; (c) at least one polymeric emulsifier; (d) glyceryl polyacrylate; and (e) water. The disclosure also relates to methods of using the compositions, for example to straighten hair."
